Dena and Ian
26th August 2011

Dena and Ian are a couple in love and it showed, the day went without a hitch and even the weather did nothing to dampen the day. They included a NY theme to there wedding with doughnuts and Hershey bars. A fantastic idea that worked really well, giving me some time to get some relaxed shots of guests enjoying the day. The blessing was at St Jones in Manchester, from there we travelled to a lovely hotel The Norton Grange. The speacial day continued in the way it had started and guests joined the Bride and Groom for there official photographs. With the help of staff we changed a lovely room into a space for the photographs to be taken, the guests contintued with there fun making the shoot very enjoyable and great fun. The weather did break and myself and my wife joined by Dena and Ian caputured some lovly photogrpahs in the grounds of the hotel.

St Peters Church Wedding Photographs

Laura & Karl

I am very fortunate in my passion of photography that i meet lots of people, Laura and Karl are two of the very best, from begining to end it was a joy to be with them.  Karl arrived looking nervous as most grroms do but still had time to laugh and joke while we took his pictures. St Peters Church woolton is a lovley setting and has a great interior. When Laura arrived she looked an absolute dream, i thought Karl your a very lucky boy.

From the Church we went to a lovely local park that Laura and Karl had picked, they couldn,t have done a better job as the park had gardens, walkways and lots of pictures opertunities. Getting the group shots correct is always a challenge because we have to move so many people into the shot, not this day, all the guests had become so wrapped up in the day they were very quick to follow suggestions, which allowed us more time to spend on the couples photographs.

Being not only a Liverpool and Cheshire Wedding photographer but an avid golfer, our next venue was one i personally have not as a golfer played but have visited several times. They have a lovely light room for there reception which flooded light in on the day. The couple slipped away from the fun to have there first chat as husband and wife, this is when we captured a lovely photograph of the couple sharing a precious moment together. I'm a big softie and it still makes me smile when i look at that photograph.

We left them enjoying the day.

We have met Laura & Karl since on  several occasions, one was a family wedding which we were also asked to cover, Zoe and Gareths blog to follow shortley.

Kathline and Ian Wedding 21st August 2010 Liverpool.

Marine FC Wedding Pictures Liverpool, casual shot

When I went to mett Kataline and Ian, I was met by a lovely couple very warm and friendly, we chatted about the day and the plans for the big day. The couple had planned their day perfectly and the day flowed smoothly. Kataline turned up looking lovely with bridesmaids in tow looking just as lovely. The church was fantastic with stained glass windows allowing a pool of light to illuminate the church. Being a Liverpool, Merseyside and Cheshire based wedding photographer, covering weddings all over the country is the norm. Kataline and Ian's wedding was right on my doorstep giving knowledge of the surrounding area and parking areas, which is always a consideration for a wedding photogrpaher because we like to get away before the bride and groom set of for their reception, we like to be there to capture their arrival. Reception was held at Marine FC, we were given access to the pitch and stands where we captured some lovely wedding photographs. A football stadium was on my wish list of ever increasing venues to take wedding pictures at, one more ticked from my list.

I wish Kataline and Ian the very best for the future as they set out in their married life together.

John and Evonne 20th August 2010

Wedding pictures Liverpool Cotton Exchange

I have known John for many years and was excited when he asked me to take the pictures of his wedding to the very lovely Evonne. John is in charge of the golf club which I am also a member of, so I knew I would know many of the guests invited. As a Liverpool based photographer I knew the venue well and looked forward to seeing many familiar faces from the golf club. The wedding plans went perfectly and on exiting the  Cotton Exchange they where greeted by a several members of surrounding golf clubs standing at the exit with clubs raised high in salute to John and Evonne. The Happy couple knew nothing of this and it came as a big surprise, a lovely gesture to a lovely couple.
